Privacy Policy
Effective date: 8 April 2026
Silly Daily Shorts is a web based automation workflow used to generate short-form videos and publish them to connected creator accounts. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected, how that information is used, how it may be disclosed, how long it may be retained, and how you may contact the operator regarding privacy matters.
1. Information we may collect
- Account connection data, including platform account identifiers, account status, granted permissions, authorisation timestamps, and related connection metadata.
- Authentication and access data, including access tokens, refresh tokens, open IDs, and similar credentials required to maintain authorised platform connectivity.
- Workflow content data, including prompts, captions, file paths, generated assets, publishing settings, scheduling data, and execution metadata.
- Operational and diagnostic data, including request logs, job status, error messages, API responses, retry events, and other technical records needed to operate, troubleshoot, secure, and maintain the workflow.
- Contact information voluntarily provided through this website or direct communication, such as email address or telephone number.
2. Sources of information
Information may be collected directly from the operator of the connected account, from connected platforms through authorised APIs, from infrastructure and hosting services used to operate the workflow, and from technical logs generated by normal operation of the service.
3. How information is used
- To establish and maintain authorised connections to supported creator accounts.
- To generate, prepare, store, upload, and publish short-form video content and associated metadata.
- To refresh credentials and maintain continued authorised access where permitted by the connected platform.
- To monitor reliability, investigate errors, prevent misuse, protect the integrity of the service, and improve operational performance.
- To comply with legal obligations, enforce platform requirements, and respond to lawful requests from competent authorities where required.
- To communicate about service issues, requests, or legal and privacy matters.
4. Legal basis and service expectation
Where applicable, information is processed because it is necessary to provide the requested workflow service, to maintain authorised account connectivity, to protect the security and integrity of the application, to pursue legitimate operational interests, and to comply with applicable legal obligations.
5. Platform permissions and restricted use
When a supported platform account is connected, the service uses only the permissions granted for the functions disclosed by the application, such as account connection, token refresh, content upload, content publishing, and publish status retrieval. The service is intended to act only for the account that granted permission and is not intended to publish to unauthorised third party accounts.
6. Disclosure of information
Information may be disclosed to hosting providers, infrastructure vendors, software providers, and connected platform operators only where necessary to operate the service. Information may also be disclosed where required by law, legal process, regulatory obligation, or to protect rights, safety, systems, or security. Personal data is not sold.
7. International processing
Depending on hosting location, platform operator infrastructure, and connected third party services, information may be processed in jurisdictions other than the user’s location. Where applicable, reasonable technical and organisational safeguards are used to support lawful handling of such data.
8. Data retention
Tokens, logs, workflow data, and operational records may be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain authorised connectivity, troubleshoot problems, protect security, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce the Terms of Service. Retention periods may differ depending on the type of data and the technical needs of the workflow.
9. Security measures
Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to limit unauthorised access, reduce exposure of stored credentials, and protect workflow data. No online system can guarantee absolute security, but security controls are used to reduce the risk of unauthorised use, disclosure, loss, or alteration.
10. Your choices and requests
- You may revoke platform authorisation through the relevant platform where available.
- You may discontinue use of the service at any time.
- You may request deletion of stored tokens or workflow data where technically feasible and legally permitted.
- You may contact the operator regarding privacy questions, access requests, or correction and deletion requests.
11. Children
This service is not intended for children and is not knowingly designed to collect information from minors.
12. Changes to this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect service changes, legal requirements, operational improvements, or platform requirements. The latest version will be posted on this website with an updated effective date.
